Check-in:
Passengers must check-in at least 30 minutes (45 minutes if leaving from Atlanta, Denver, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles) prior to departure if leaving from the 50 states, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands for a domestic destination. If leaving for an international destination, passengers must check-in 60 minutes prior to departure (earlier check-in is required for flights leaving for Moscow; Bogota, Colombia; Istanbul, Turkey; Nassau, Bahamas, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos; and St. Lucia.
Curbside check in is available at more than 100 U.S. airports.
Self-service check-in kiosks are available at more than 80 airports.
Frequent traveler security lines are offered at these airports.

Frequent flier members:
Delta's SkyMiles program allows passengers to earn miles on Delta and its partners: AeroMexico, Air France, Air Jamaica, Alaska Airlines, Alitalia, Avianca, China Airlines, China Southern, Continental, CSA Czech Airlines, El Al, Emirates, KLM, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways and Virgin Atlantic.
Airport lounges:
Delta Crown Room Club members can use of the Crown Room Clubs throughout the United States and Europe, as well as the Continental Presidents Clubs and Northwest Airlines WorldClubs when traveling on those airlines. Membership costs $400 or 70,000 SkyMiles a year, and allows passengers to use the frequent traveler security lines at some U.S. airports.
Carry-on rules:
Passengers can bring on board one personal item weighing no more than 40 pounds, and one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, camera, or laptop computer.
Meal options:
Snacks are provided on flights within the 48 contiguous United States, Canada, and select Latin American and Caribbean destinations. Meals are provided on select Alaska and Hawaii flights, and on international flights longer than five hours. Special meals such as diabetic, gluten-free, Kosher, Hindu, children's, low-cholesterol/low-fat, low-sodium, Muslim, seafood (cold), and vegetarian are offered by request only on flights were meals are provided.
Children:
Unaccompanied children ages 5-14 (5-11 on Song) can fly without an adult on nonstop and direct flights. Unaccompanied children ages 15-17 can fly with supervision on other flights. Some fees and restrictions may apply.
Pet policy:
Pets (including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs) are allowed in the cabin on flights within the United States (except Hawaii), Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean. There is a $50 one-way fee for this service. Pets can also be carried as cargo
