OVERVIEW
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is two miles from the Port Everglades cruise-ship center, three miles from downtown Fort Lauderdale, 20 miles north of Miami and 40 miles south of Palm Beach.
DRIVING

Passenger pick-up: FLL has a free Cell Phone Waiting Area just off Perimeter Road where drivers can wait for arriving passengers.
PARKING
Cheapest: Try the Park n Save and Tower lots for $6 daily. They're linked by shuttles leaving every 15 minutes. Long-term parking is $12 daily in the garage complex.
Most convenient: Hourly parking in the garage complex is $1 per half-hour, with a daily maximum of $36.
Valet-Premier Parking: $16 a day. Drop off your vehicle in the Long-Term garage complex close to your terminal.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Train: The Tri-Rail commuter train system, which connects Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, serves the airport via feeder buses from the west end of Terminal 1, between Terminals 2 and 3 and between Terminals 3 and 4. A trip to Boca Raton runs $4.
Shuttle: Tri-County Airport Express provides shared van and non-shared limo service with rates based on zones. Typical shared-ride per-person cost is $8 to $15 in the Fort Lauderdale area, $17 to Boca Raton and Miami's South Beach.
Bus: Broward County Transit buses serve the airport for a $1 fare.
Cab: Fares are about $9 to Port Everglades, $55 to Miami International Airport and $50 to $60 to Boca Raton.
RENTAL CARS
Alamo, Avis, Budget, Continental, Dollar, Enterprise, E-Z, Hertz, National, Payless,Royal and Thrifty are based at the rental car center. From Terminal 1, take the pedestrian bridge near the Concourse B security checkpoint. From Terminals 2, 3, and 4, take the free Rental Care Center shuttle; the stop is on the baggage claim level.

Meditation room: For travelers seeking a quiet time, there is a meditation room at the south end of Terminal 3, departure level.
Mail: U.S. Mail drop boxes are located at the business centers in Terminals 2 and 4; FedEx drop boxes are in Terminals 1 and 3.
Business Services: The Business Service Center in Terminal 2 offers fax, photocopying and money wiring services, a notary public and currency exchange. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily.
