Check-in pointers
Iberia includes a check-in time limit for all passengers. If passengers have not complied with all check-in procedures before the check-in time limit, they may not make the flight.
Passengers should arrive at the airport three hours prior to departure. Iberia encourages all passengers to become familiar with general security procedures.
Check-in alternatives
Passengers who have a confirmed reservation and are traveling without baggage can use Iberia's Auto Check-in at some airports in Spain.

Frequent-flier program
The Iberia Plus program allows passengers to earn points toward flights, hotel accommodation and car rentals.
Points can be earned on Iberia and the following carriers: Air Nostrum, Swiss, SN Brussels, Tap Air Portugal, and oneworld alliance members (Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Lan Chile and Quantas).
Airport club or lounge
VIP Lounges are available for first-class, business class and Club Fiesta passengers, as well as Platinum and Gold Iberia Plus members. Lounges are located in every airport Iberia serves including London, Chicago (O'Hare), Miami, and New York (JFK). Lounges in Spain include Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Malaga, Sevilla, and Valencia.
Carry-on limits
One carry-on bag is allowed, but it must not exceed 22 lbs (10 kg) in weight and 45 in (114 cm) in total linear dimensions.
In-flight meal options
Special meal options, which should be requested at least 24 hours before the flight, include Asian vegetarian, baby, bland, child, diabetic, fruit platter, high-fiber, Hindu, Japanese, Kosher, low-calorie, low-cholesterol, low-calorie, low-protein, low-sodium, Muslim, non-lactose, oriental, raw vegetarian, seafood, non-dairy vegetarian, and vegetarian lacto-ovo.
Unaccompanied children
Children ages 3-12 can travel alone on Iberia, provided that the proper contact information (name of parents and person picking up the child, phone numbers, etc.). No additional fee is charged.
Pets
Pets weighing 17 lbs (8kg) or less can travel in the passenger cabin. Animals weighing no more than 70 lbs (32 kg) can travel as checked cargo for approximately $166. The fee varies according to the destination and the combined weight of the pet and kennel.
