- Check-in: Arrive at least one hour before departure for a domestic flight and two hours early for an international flight.
DRIVING
The airport is seven miles from downtown Philadelphia, also known as Center City.
Passenger pick-up: Drivers can wait for arriving passengers in the PennDOT "Park & Ride" lot on Bartram Avenue adjacent to the Southbound I-95 exit ramp for Cargo City. Get directions.
PARKING
Cheapest: Economy parking is $9 per day. The remote lot is beyond Terminal F and has shuttle bus service around the clock.
Most convenient: Short-term parking on the ground level at baggage claim is $5 for the first hour and $38 a day. Other garage parking near the terminals is $17 daily.
Get more parking info: Check the airport Web site, call (215) 683-9840, or tune to 1630 AM within five miles of the airport.
Security: The airport will restrict parking within 300 feet of the terminals when the U.S. government deems the national security risk "severe" or "high." Check the current risk level.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Rail: The SEPTA commuter rail system connects the airport with five city and suburban stops. The one-way fare downtown is $6 in advance and $7 on board, and $2.
Cab: The flat fee for a cab ride to Center City is $25. Other destinations run $3.80 to start and $2.10 per mile. Find cabs at Zone 5.
Shuttle/limo: 215-937-6958. Limos are at Zone 6; shuttles at Zone 7.

RENTAL CARS
Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National serve the airport. Go to Zone 2 outside the baggage claim area to pick up a vehicle.
GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT
Get an airport map or a listing of shops and eateries for each terminal/concourse.
AMENITIES/USEFUL INFO
ATMs: There are 15 ATM locations throughout the airport.
Lost and found: 215-937-6888. Located at Communications Center, Departures Roadway between Terminals C and D.
Mail facilities: Self-service postal centers are in the A-B walkway near Terminal A-East and on the C-D walkway near Terminal D. The UPS Store is on the passenger walkway between terminals A and B.
Wireless Internet: Available from more than 40 access points throughout the secure portions of the terminal. A 24-hour session costs $7.95.
Children: The interactive Aviation Play Station, designed for children ages 1-7, is near Gate D-10.
Traveler information: Airport Information Counters are in each terminal, open 24 hours a day in terminals B and C and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. in all other terminals.
