Carry-on rules:

Passengers are allowed 1 piece of carry-on luggage when traveling in Tourist Class, 2 pieces of carry-on luggage when traveling in First or Executive Class.

Meal options:

Special meals can be served at no cost to the passenger, in almost all cases, except special request meals, these must be requested 24 hours prior to departure. Options include vegetarian/non diary, children's meal (on international flights this does not have to be requested as children will be served children's meals, unless an adult meal is requested in advance), bland/soft, diabetic, gluten-free,  kosher, low calorie,  low cholesterol, low sodium, non lactose, vegetarian lacto-ovo, and Japanese.


LAN regards children as passengers between 2-12 years of age. Children up to 5 years of age must travel accompanied with an adult. Children between 5-12 must travel accompanied by a passenger between 12-17 years of age on a one to one basis, or an adult (over 18 years of age). Children between 12-15 can request the unaccompanied children service, but it is not mandatory. There is a fee for this service. All children must have the appropiate authorization and documentation before traveling. This service is not available for First Class and for flights with overnight layovers.
