Passenger pick-up: Drivers picking up passengers may park for free while they wait for travelers to arrive. The park and wait lot is located on your right as you enter the airport, just south of Terminal 1.
Cheapest: Daily rates at the economy parking lots south and west of the terminals max out at $6. Find rates
Most convenient: Short-term lots are closest to the terminal; rates top out at $25 a day. See maps
Security: During times of heightened security, every vehicle parking on the upper levels of the short-term parking garage will be inspected.
Bus: Utah Transit Authority bus route No. 50 connects SLC to downtown Salt Lake City; buses stop at Parking Lot B, between terminals 1 and 2. Fare is $1.50.
Shuttle/limo: Limousine, van and bus services are available to destinations throughout Utah and parts of Idaho. Call (801) 575-2477 to arrange a ride.
Cab: Taxi fare from the airport to downtown Salt Lake City is about $15.
Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty can be found in the lowest level of the parking terrace.
GETTING AROUND THE AIRPORT
Ski rentals: Ski gear is available for rent behind baggage claim in both terminals from November until April.

Business center: Laptop Lane is located in Terminal 2, between concourses C and D.
Lost and found: Mezzanine level in Terminal I: call (801) 575-2427.
ATMs & banking: Zion's First National Bank offers full-service banking in Terminal II, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday; ATMs are available throughout the terminals.
Postal service: Stamp machine and mail box are located at the top of the escalator toward concourse A in Terminal I and just before the concourse D connector in Terminal II.
Wireless Internet: Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport through Sprint PCS. It costs $9.95 for 24 hours or $49.95 per month.
Rent a movie and DVD player at InMotion Pictures at the head of Concourse D.
Granato's, a local deli, serves Italian sandwiches, soups and salads. Located in Terminal 1.
If your layover is at least nine holes long, head south of SLC to Wingpointe Golf Course, rated by Golf Digest as one of the three most difficult city-maintained golf courses in the country. It's an 18-hole course, but travelers can golf nine holes for $10; an 18-hole game is $22. Call (801) 575-2345 for more information.
