DRIVING
DCA is about four miles from downtown Washington.

- Passenger pick-up: Drivers may wait for arriving passengers for up to one hour in the free Cell Phone Waiting Area near the end of the "Return to Airport" ramp just beyond Terminal B/C.
PARKING
*** Summer Parking Advisory ***
Airport officials expect parking to be at a premium Tuesdays through Thursdays throughout the summer. Travelers are advised to consider alternate transportation, including taxis or the Metro. Travelers who do need to park at the airport can get real-time parking information online or by phone at 703-417-PARK (703-417-7275).
Cheapest: Parking is $9 daily and $3 hourly in the economy lot, with a free shuttle to the terminals.
Most convenient: Hourly parking near each terminal is $2 per half-hour. Daily parking is $15 for Terminal A and $28 for B and C. The first 20 minutes are free.
Valet parking: $40 the first day; $30 for days two and three; $25 each additional day. Advanced reservations are encouraged; call (703) 417-1234. Pull up in front of Terminal A.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Shuttle: Several shuttle companies serve DCA. Expect to pay from $10 to $13 to downtown.
Cab: A taxi ride costs about $12 to the Capitol and Alexandria, and about $15 to Georgetown.
RENTAL CARS
Rental companies are in Parking Garage A, and are linked to the terminals by a free airport shuttle. Avis, Budget, Dollar, Hertz and National serve DCA on-site. Enterprise, Alamo and Thrifty are off-site.

AMENITIES/USEFUL INFO
Lost and found: Terminal A, Room M-160, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. Call 703-417-0673.
Internet access: All phone banks in Terminals B and C -- and most phone banks in the baggage claim area -- have data ports for Internet access. In addition, computer stations are available for e-mail access near the Thomas Cook Business Centers in Terminal C.
ATMs: Chevy Chase Bank ATMs are available in Terminals B and C, the Old Main Terminal and baggage claim.
Business Service Center: In Terminal C provides foreign currency exchange, insurance, facsimile and photocopying, notary public, and other services. Hours: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Telephone: (703) 417-3200.
Currency exchange: Available at Customer Service Centers in terminals B and C.
Travelers Aid: Terminal A, (703) 417-3972; Terminals B and C, (703) 417-3974.
Post office: Postal services are available at the North Customer Service Center. Drop boxes are in all terminals.
