Getting there:
Passengers can be dropped off at the Kiss n' Fly stop off Bessie Coleman Drive, which is connected to the airport by a free shuttle that runs 24 hours a day. Please note that rush hour traffic around Chicago begins around 7 a.m. and starts again at 3:30 p.m.
Parking information:
Parking starts at $13 per day in Economy lots E and G. The most convenient parking to the terminals is $26 per day in lots B and C, $30 per day at the International Terminal, and $50 per day in the garage. Hourly parking is $2 up to an hour. There is Valet parking on Level 1 of the parking garage for $32 per day.

Ground transportation:
Trains:
CTA's Blue Line trains run from O'Hare to downtown Chicago 24 hours a day. Ride lasts 45 minutes and costs $2.
Metra's North Central commuter trains travel between a transfer stop at O'Hare (24-hour shuttle service provided to the airport) to Chicago's Union Station. Ride costs $3.30.
Taxis:
Cab fares between downtown Chicago and O'Hare cost around $40.
Shuttle buses:
Shuttle buses run between downtown hotels and the north suburbs for about $25.

Getting around O'Hare:
O'Hare's free, light-rail Airport Transit System shuttles passengers between Terminals 1, 2, 3, and 5, and long-term parking lot E.

Provided by doctors, nurses, and technicians at the University of Illinois at Chicago's Medical Center in Terminal 2. No appointment necessary. Emergency treatment, and other services such as X-rays and immunizations given. Open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. Phone: (773) 894-5100.
Post office:
Located in the upper level of Terminal 2. Open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays.
Traveler assistance:
Airport information booths located in Terminals 1 and 3 (lower level) and Terminal 5 (upper level).
Wi-Fi High-Speed Internet:
Available throughout the airport in 2006.
