Members of the the Frecuenta program can earn miles on flights on Mexicana and on the following airlines: Aeromar, Aeromexico, AeroLitoral, Air Canada, Air New Zealand, American Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Iberia, LAN, LOT, Luftansa, SAS, Singapore Airlines and VARIG.

Airport lounges:

There are Executive lounges at the Mexico City, Cancun, Miami, Los Angeles, and Chicago airports, as well as other domestic and international airports. Frecuenta Silver, Gold and Platinum cardholders have access to these facilities.

Carry-on rules:

Passengers are allowed one item on board, not weighing more than 22 pounds (10kg) or exceeding 45 inches (114 cm) in length.

Meal options:

Special meals are available only on international flights. These meals must be requested 48 hours before departure. Special meals include Asian vegetarian, baby, diabetic, soft or bland, child, gluten-free, Hindu, kosher, low-calorie, Muslim, non-lactose, low-fat, no-salt, and vegetarian meals.

Children:

Unaccompanied children ages 5-18 are allowed to fly. A form must be filled out for children ages 5-12 allowing the child to travel unaccompanied. Unaccompanied children ages 12-18 can travel unaccompanied at the parent or guardian's request. If the parent or guardian does not desire the child to travel unaccompanied, a signed liability form must be presented. 

Pregnant women:

If a woman is more than six months pregnant, a medical certificate issued no more than seven days before departure is necessary to board the flight.

Pet policy:

Pets such as dogs, cats, and small birds are allowed to fly in the cabin or as cargo, provided they have the necessary certifications and vaccinations required by the destination country. Pets do not count as checked baggage allowance.

Other amenities:

Hot towels and open bar (for customers 21 and over) is available for first class passengers. Children ages 2-12 traveling accompanied by an adult can qualify for a reduced fare.
