A Nicaraguan Natural Reserve and proposed world heritage site, Apoyo lagoon is a natural wonder. Over 21,000 years ago, a large volcanic eruption created the framework for this magnificent body of water.
The lagoon has a diameter of 6 km and an estimated depth of more than 280 meters (900 feet) making the lake bottom the deepest geological point in Central America. Its pristine waters have the therapeutic power of ideal quantities of sulfur and minerals. Its surroundings are covered by a magnificent forest where monkeys play, birds chirp and the many species of the forest live in harmony.

Lunch is included.
