The tour begins with a visit to La Sabana Metropolitan Park, the heart of the capital city, then heads to the residential area of Rohmoser and continues on to Sabana Sur. Here, a delicious typical lunch will be served. The tour continues along the Paseo Colón on the way to the National Theatre.

After a guided visit to this architectural masterpiece, we will take a short walk over the Plaza de la Cultura to visit the Gold Museum. We’ll continue through the Central Avenue Boulevard to the Plaza de la Democracia to visit the National Museum. The walk will continue on the Boulevard Circuito Judicial and on to the Supreme Court of Justice.

Here we will board the bus to continue our city sightseeing, taking a close look at the Casa Amarilla, The National Park, The National Library, The Electoral Supreme Court, and the old neighbourhoods of San Jose (Amón – Otoya & Toumón).

Before we head back to the hotel, we will stop to have a cup of coffee at the tourist center, “El Pueblo”, where you will find over 60 different bars and restaurants, and 4 different discos that focus on the nightlife of San José. You will have the opportunity to stay at El Pueblo or return to the hotel. If you decide to stay at El Pueblo, you will receive special discounts at the galleries, bars and restaurants, and the tour bus will return to pick you up two hours later.
