This complete tour gives you the opportunity to enjoy some highlights of Costa Rica in just one day. The first stop is the Poás Volcano, which has one of the most famous craters in the world. We will stop at La Paz Waterfalls Gardens where you will be able to enjoy breakfast, visit the butterfly observatory and the hiking trails.

Once we arrive in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí we will board the boat to discover the richness of Costa Rica’s nature along the river.

The boat ride will last two hours- time enough to witness the magnificent rain forest and its habitants, such as toucans, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and many other species.

At the end of this river adventure you will stop at a private farm to enjoy a home-style lunch. Then you can either hike on one of the nature trails or explore the surroundings on horseback. In the afternoon, before returning to the city, you will be able to enjoy the scenic drive through the exuberant Braulio Carrillo National Park.
