We will climb the Archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, in the higher part of Cusco. We’ll visit:
  • The source of spring water Tambomachay - where the element was worshiped
  • The remains of Qenqo - a stone made labyrinth with a sacrificial altar in the heart
  • Fortress of Sacsayhuaman - enjoy a wonderful view of the city of Cusco and be amazed by the massive stones comprising the fortress.

    Then head back down to the city where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.

  • Cusco tourist ticket not included
  • Some people might get altitude sickness in Cusco. To prevent this, you must stay calm the first few hours until you have adjusted to the altitude. It also helps to chew coca leaves and drink coca tea.
