DRIVING
The airport is eight miles from Baltimore and about 30 miles from Washington, D.C.

- Passenger pick-up: Drivers picking up passengers can park temporarily in the free cell phone waiting lot at the entrance to the Daily B lot on Elm Road.
PARKING
Cheapest: Long-term parking is $8 per day; free shuttles take travelers to the terminals.
Most convenient: The Daily Parking Garage at MD 170 and Elm Road is $10/day.

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Train: Light rail service is available to downtown Baltimore for $1.60. Travelers also can ride Amtrak and MARC trains to downtown Baltimore, Washington, Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware. A shuttle bus connects every 20 minutes to BWI's train station.
Bus: Washington's Metro's express shuttle bus connects BWI to the Greenbelt Metro Station.
Shuttle: The Airport Shuttle costs about $33 to downtown Baltimore ($24 to many downtown hotels) and about $37 to Annapolis.
Cab: A taxi costs about $23 to Baltimore and $63 to Washington. More info on taxis and limos is on the BWI Web site.
RENTAL CARS
The rental car facility at Stoney Run and New Ridge roads houses Avis, Alamo, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. A free shuttle ride to/from BWI takes about 10 minutes.

Customer Service Center: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the terminal's upper level. Call 410-859-7992.

Mail: Mailboxes are located in the upper level of concourses B, C and D and the International Concourse. Stamp machines are beyond gate B-4 on Concourse B, next to the Euro Cafe near Concourse C, and on Concourse D near Cafe Ritazza.
Wireless Internet: Wi-Fi is available in all secure areas, including concourses A/B, C, D, and E and the Observation Gallery. Cost is $7.95 for 24 hours or $21.95 for a monthly pass.
