The “Gondola” (Aerial Tram) Tour is a modified “Ski Lift” that covers a distance of 2.6 kilometers through the Costa Rica rainforest. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. Visitors will see the different levels of a rainforest, specifically the most difficult level to reach until recently and the least scientifically known part of the forest the canopy (the tree tops). This course is very secure and very quiet allowing visitors to listen to the many different sounds of the rainforest.

Once we arrive in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí we will board the boat to discover the richness of Costa Rica’s nature along the river. The boat ride will last two hours- time enough to witness the magnificent rain forest and its habitants, such as toucans, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and many other species.
At the end of this river adventure you will stop at a private farm to enjoy a home-style lunch. Then you can either hike on one of the nature trails or explore the surroundings on horseback. In the afternoon, before returning to the city, you will be able to enjoy the scenic drive through the exuberant Braulio Carrillo National Park. After a guided visit to this architectural masterpiece, we will take a short walk over the Plaza de la Cultura to visit the Gold Museum. We’ll continue through the Central Avenue Boulevard to the Plaza de la Democracia to visit the National Museum. The walk will continue on the Boulevard Circuito Judicial and on to the Supreme Court of Justice. Here we will board the bus to continue our city sightseeing, taking a close look at the Casa Amarilla, The National Park, The National Library, The Electoral Supreme Court, and the old neighbourhoods of San Jose (Amón – Otoya & Toumón).
Before we head back to the hotel, we will stop to have a cup of coffee at the tourist center, “El Pueblo”, where you will find over 60 different bars and restaurants, and 4 different discos that focus on the nightlife of San José. You will have the opportunity to stay at El Pueblo or return to the hotel. If you decide to stay at El Pueblo, you will receive special discounts at the galleries, bars and restaurants, and the tour bus will return to pick you up two hours later.

Once in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, you will board a boat to discover the richness of Costa Rica nature along the Sarapiqui River. The boat ride will last approximately two hours, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the magnificent rain forest and it habitants, such as toucans, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles and many other species.
Then you will arrive at a private reserve where you will have the choice of reaching the Canopy starting point by horseback or hiking. The Canopy starts with an explanation of the basic principals needed to make this experience an enjoyable and safe one. This is the adventure that lets you roam around the treetops leaping from platform to platform, in a special system of steel cables using professional climbing gear.
Each one of the 15 platforms and the suspension bridge is a unique experience in itself. After such an adrenaline packed two hours, you will be able to enjoy a home-style lunch at the private reserve. This excursion requires no previous experience.

Day 1: This trip will take you to Costa Rica’s most beautiful river to experience world class rafting, class 3 and class 4 in scenery that is unsurpassable. The first day offers many thrills as you begin to navigate down the Pacuare River until you reach the Pacuare Lodge. In the afternoon there will also be time to hike into the rain forest, and discover the natural "waterslides" of waterfalls. All meals are included.
Day 2: After a hearty breakfast, you will be ready for even more rapids, and more challenging parts of the river, at the same time some of the most unspoiled scenery in the country. Stop by the riverside for a picnic lunch. Then in the afternoon, the take out of the river near the town of Siquirres and the return trip to San Jose via the spectacular Braulio Carrillo National Park. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Day 1: An early morning departure will have you travelling through one of Costa Ricas most scenic parks, Braulio Carrillo, then continue the journey and head towards the lowlands of the province of Limon, passing through banana plantations. A boat will be waiting for you to take you into the heart of Tortuguero National Park. The comfortable lodge will be your base of discovery for the next few days. All meals are included.
Day 2: Today your naturalist tour guide will to take you to explore the intricate system of natural canals and waterways in this lush rain forest region, as well as walk through the trails of the park and visit the little village of Tortuguero. All meals are included.
Day 3: This morning, wake up early to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Costa Ricas own "Amazon" - like area, then head back to San Jose, first by boat, and then the journey back on to land. Breakfast and lunch are included.
