invite you to share in the pleasant experience of bird watching at the
private Wildlife Reserve of Montibelli, an ideal site to appreciate the
singing, forms and colors of over 149 species of birds, both migratory
and residents. Depending on the season, you might even see courting
ceremonies, nesting and how they feed their chicks.Montibelli provides the birds with a safe and comfortable environment in which to live. It has all the characteristics of the pacific tropical dry forest, with coffee growing plantations melting into the scenery below the shade of colossal trees. In this habitat, we’ll be able to find birds such as motmots, trogons, hummingbirds, wrens, oropendolas, saltators, toucans, manakins, potoos, tanagers, warblers... and many more in a wide diversity of birds that will please the most assorted tastes.

Every Thursday night, Masaya organizes its traditional "verbenas" in the historic handicraft market.On this night, you’ll travel back in time to the Nicaragua of the past, with special presentations of Masaya folklore groups that promote and encourage the cultural traditions of the Nicaraguan people.
The city of Masaya is known as the "Cradle of Nicaraguan Folklore" and during your visit to the market, together with tasting traditional Nicaraguan food, you’ll have a chance to admire the craftsmanship of local artisans in an ample variety of works offered at economical prices.
Amongst the handicrafts, you’ll find beautiful and finely embroidered hammocks that are a symbol of national pride and an icon of our culture. Today, Nicaragua’s hammocks are exported worldwide with great success.

This
excursion will take you just twenty minutes from Managua to admire the
majestic and imposing crater of the Masaya Volcano, 635 meters above
sea level. The crater is reachable directly by car.You’ll enjoy a magnificent view of this enormous crater, considered one of the most active in Nicaragua. In the park, you’ll visit the Interpretation Centre where you’ll learn about volcanic activity in Nicaragua.
After having spent some time admiring this incredible national park, we’ll visit the archaeological museum of Nindiri. In this small town you’ll see samples of items used by indigenous people of the region. Then you’ll continue on to the town of Masaya, the Nicaraguan capital of folklore and handicrafts, also the richest source of handicrafts in all of Central America. The artisans of Masaya are internationally known for their famous handmade hammocks. Beautiful woodwork, sculpted masks, clay ceramics and handmade embroidered blouses can all be found here.
In Masaya, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from an incredible number of unique local souvenirs to take home to your family and friends.

Come
with us and enjoy a trip to the Nicaraguan past, visiting many small
towns that still follow old traditions. You will see the Valley of
Ticuantepe, La Concha where you will admire some sylvester fruit
plantations such as pineapple and pithayas and San Marcos, homeland of
the father of the Somozas family dictatorship.
In addition, you will visit places like Masatepe, which is an ideal place to buy leather shoes and furniture Niquinohomo or "Warriors Town," main venue of the freemen’s General Augusto Cesar Sandino, who also marked the modern history of Nicaragua. Also, see Catarina, a perfect place to buy ornamental plants and enjoy the majestic view of the Apoyo Volcanic Lagoon.
San Juan de Oriente is the best place to acquire pre-Columbian arts and crafts that are exported to Central America and other countries.

This
excursion introduces you into the culture and history of Nicaragua
knowing the museums, parks and historical sites of the Capital of the
Republic since 1852, located next to Lake Xolotlan or Managua it is the
main entrance for visitors to the country.
We will begin by a visit to Acahualinca Footprints Museum, where we will see footprints from humans and animals escaping from a volcano eruption between 6.000 to 10.000 years ago.
Next we will visit historical sites like: The Old Cathedral destroyed by the earthquake of 1972, the Presidential House, the waterfront, the Central Market where you can observe or buy the finest Nicaraguan Handcrafts, the National Palace of Culture, the Central Park, Tiscapa Hill Historical Park, Park of Peace, National Theatre Ruben Dario, the new Metropolitan Cathedral which was the last built in the past century, making it the most modern cathedral of our time.

tropical forest to zip-line down from a height of 30 meters (98 feet),
from one platform to the next while enjoying close contact with nature.

an unforgettable journey to one of the most beautiful places in
Nicaragua. Ometepe Island with its two volcanoes is the world’s tallest
lake island at 1,610m (5,282 ft). Our excursion takes us to the
southern part of the country, arriving at San Jorges port where we’ll
take a ferry to Ometepe, where you’ll have a spectacular view, one of
the most impressive in all of Nicaragua.We’ll visit the Pre-Columbian Museum, the Green Puddles Lagoon, the volcano Conception and the green volcano Madera. Includes lunch at Santo Domingo beach.

Nicaragua’s unique landscape is truly one of the country’s most striking features.The Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve is covered in an abundance of nature, typical of the tropical rain forest and a singular dwarf forest where you’ll admire the flora and fauna as well as the majestic crater at an altitude of 1.345 meters above sea level.
